Market rallies for the fourth day in succession $BAC $JPM

- Markets rallied overnight after news that the ECB has moved to ease funding concerns by co-ordinating a loan facility to distressed Euro Banks. The Federal Reserve also announced a similar package. Markets also reacted positively to news that Merkel and Sarkozy confirmed Greek comments that Greece will remain in the EU
- European and US banks rallied on the news with BNP Paribas and Morgan Stanley led the gains by rallied 13.4% and 7.2% respectively.However UBS bucked the trend by falling 10.8% after a USD2.0 Billion unauthorised trading loss was discovered overnight
- Leading the Dow higher was BAC, JPM, GE and UTX which rallied 3.97%, 3.08%, 2.81% and 2.62% respectively
- Dow Jones +1.66% S&P500 +1.72% NASDAQ +1.34%
- USD was weaker as a pick up in risk appetite saw it sell off. EUR peaked at 1.3936 while the GBP topped out at 1.5867. AUD is also up
- Gold fell on improved sentiment and Crude managed to rally to a high of USD90.15 on improved sentiment and a weaker USD
