Stocks finish the session down slightly $XAUUSD

- US markets were weaker overnight for the third day in succession as the market awaits an outcome from Europe in regards to the pending Greek debt deal. The Dow fell as much as 131 points before staging a late rally to close the session down 6.7 points
- Technology stocks helped put a floor in the market with both Apple and Microsoft rallying 1.28% and 1.30% respectively
- Energy stocks and financials were weaker with Halliburton and Chevron falling more than 1.00% due to weaker oil prices
- Bank of America fell 2.90% after Goldman Sachs followed other majors and cut its remuneration structure. GS also fell 1.83%
- Leading the moves on the Dow was BAC, PG, AXP each falling 3.02%, 1.70% and 1.46% respectively
- DOW –0.05%, S&P500 –0.25% and NASDAQ –0.16%
- EUR rallied from a low of 1.3076 and the AUD is now pushing 1.0600
- Gold weakened on Greek debt talks and Crude fell 0.7% overnight
